What does the conference registration include?

Your conference registration fee provides entrance for you to the meetings, exhibits, welcome reception, Thursday breakfast and lunch, and the Mardi Gras Fete. Registration does not include the golf tournament, Saturday parade party or hotel reservations.

Are additional Welcome Reception and Mardi Gras Fete tickets available to MVTTC Members?

Yes, your registration includes a ticket for you and you may purchase spouse (significant other) packages for the welcome reception and the Mardi Gras Fete for $250. Individual tickets are also available to members who have a registered delegate; welcome reception tickets are $125 and Mardi Gras Fete tickets are $150.

Can non-members purchase spouse (significant other) packages?

Yes, your registration includes a ticket for you and you may purchase spouse (significant other) packages for the welcome reception and the Mardi Gras Fete for $250.

Can non-members purchase additional Welcome Reception and Mardi Gras Fete tickets?

Additional tickets are available to members of MVTTC who have registered delegates only. If you are interested in becoming a council member, simply visit www.mvttc.com or call 504 566.1001.

How do I reserve a hotel room?

Just click on the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel  reservations link. Book early to secure your room reservation, New Orleans hotels fill up quickly around Carnival Season.

What about a flight to New Orleans?

There are plenty of flights into New Orleans! Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport offers 123 flights serving 34 cities.

Is there ground transportation from the airport to the hotel?

There are thousands of taxis available on New Orleans streets and at major hotels. A cab ride costs $28 from the airport downtown for one or two persons and $9 per additional passenger.

Airport Shuttle, Inc. is the official ground transportation for Armstrong International Airport, with service to and from New Orleans’ hotels and other designated locations. Fare is $20 per person one way, or $38 round-trip. Call 1 866 596.2699 for reservations.

Can I still experience the same restaurants I know and love in New Orleans?

According to Tom Fitzmorris and www.nomenu.com, there are 1222 restaurants open in New Orleans today, which is more than ever before. All of your favorites such as Mr. B’s, Emeril’s, Legacy Kitchen Craft Tavern, Galatoire’s and Commander’s Palace are ready to indulge your senses, in addition to several new restaurants. What is the Mardi Gras uptown parade schedule during the conference?

Wednesday, February 22 parades include Druids - 6:30 p.m. and Nyx at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, February 23, parades include Babylon - 5:45 p.m., Chaos - 6:15 p.m. and Muses - 6:30 p.m. Then Friday, February 24, parades include Hermes - 6 p.m., d'Etat - 6:30 p.m. and Morpheus - 7 p.m. On Saturday, February 25, parades include Iris - 11 a.m., Tucks - Noon and Endymion (Mid-City) - 4:15 p.m.
